Is there an Android app?+
Android is coming soon. You can sign up for one Android launch email. The iPhone app is available now on the App Store.
When does the program start?+
Day 1 is Monday, September 14, 2026, the first weekday after Rosh Hashanah. Before then the Path shows Day 1 as the next stop, and every session can already be opened from its node, so you can look around or get ahead. The app follows the Jewish calendar: Shabbos and Yom Tov are rest days and the path simply waits.
I missed a day. Did I lose my streak?+
Only weekdays you skip count, and Shabbos and Yom Tov never break a streak. The path does not scold: finish the session you missed whenever you like and the stop turns gold. Sparks and badges are yours to keep either way.
How does the daily reminder work?+
Me, then the gear, then Daily reminder. Pick a time and iOS will nudge you each lesson morning, Sunday to Friday, never on Shabbos or Yom Tov. If nothing arrives, check that notifications are allowed for Learn to Daven in the iOS Settings app.
The story keeps turning pages by itself.+
The right side of the screen goes forward and the left side goes back. Swipe down to close the story. Listen is the only thing that turns pages on its own, and turning a page by hand stops the voice. The question mark in the story header shows the gesture card again. The upcoming 1.0.1 update adds vertical scrolling for long prayer cards; in that version, swipe down from the header to close.
How do I get the app to read to me?+

The current App Store version, 1.0, uses your iPhone's installed voices. Tap Listen in a story or on a lesson page. Hebrew uses a Hebrew voice when available, with transliteration as the fallback. You can pause, resume or stop while listening.

The upcoming 1.0.1 update adds optional Roger recordings for Days 1 through 46, in Full, Simple and Read modes, plus playback speed controls. You will be able to download a unit or all available units, with the size shown first and Wi-Fi as the default, then listen offline. Phone voice remains available. These are lesson recordings, not audio for the full Siddur. After that update, saved recordings can be managed in Me, then Settings, then Offline audio.

The text is too dense for me, or for my kids.+
Settings, then Reading, then Simple. Every session has a plainer version of the same story, at about a fifth grade reading level. Text size lives in the same place, and the app also follows the iPhone's Dynamic Type setting.
Which nusach does the siddur use?+
Ashkenaz, Sefard or Edot HaMizrach, chosen the first time you open the Siddur tab and changeable any time in Settings. Each session marks its line wherever that line appears in your siddur. Nusach Ari is not in yet because no free-culture text of the Kehot siddur has been cleared; Sefard is the closest of the three.
Can I use Spanish, French or Portuguese?+

The current app's menus support English and Spanish, following its selected language in iOS Settings. Version 1.0 does not include the teaching translation tool.

The upcoming 1.0.1 update adds Translate teaching on the lesson's Read page for Spanish, French and Portuguese. It requires iOS 18 or later and translates on your iPhone; Apple may ask to download a language first, and availability depends on your device. The result is labeled machine translation and may contain mistakes. It does not replace the original lesson, Hebrew or Siddur text.

It says a day is not in this version yet.+
New lessons arrive automatically when the app opens with a connection, and About, then Check for updates, fetches them on demand. If a day is still missing, update the app from the App Store.
Where are my notes and progress kept?+
On your iPhone and nowhere else. See the privacy policy. Deleting the app deletes them, so they cannot be recovered afterwards.
Does it work without a connection?+
The lessons and Siddur ship inside the app and can be read without a connection. Version 1.0 can also read aloud using installed phone voices. In the upcoming 1.0.1 update, optional recordings and translation languages need an initial download before offline use. New content and audio downloads require a connection.
I found a mistake in the Hebrew or a translation.+
Please tell us. Accuracy of the text matters more to this project than anything else, and corrections ship as content updates within days.
